A suspected land fraudster was arrested in Othaya, Nyeri County, accused of conning a buyer out of Ksh900,000 in a fake land sale. The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Land Fraud Investigations Unit arrested him after he failed to appear in court. The buyer paid for land in Molo, but an official search revealed the parcel belonged to a different owner. The suspect was nabbed in the Giathege area of Othaya and is being processed ahead of his next court appearance.
