The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has dismantled an alleged counterfeit maize flour repackaging operation in Kasarani, leading to the arrest of seven suspects. During a raid, investigators seized 3,682 packets of a popular maize flour brand, along with additional packets from well-known brands, with a total value running into hundreds of thousands of shillings. The operation also uncovered industrial processing and packaging equipment, indicating an organized counterfeiting scheme.
