The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) dismantled a clandestine donkey slaughter syndicate in Makindu, Makueni County, during an intelligence-led operation. Authorities impounded a vehicle meant to transport the meat and cautioned the public about health risks associated with suspicious meat.
