DCI Outlines How Kenyans Abroad, Foreign Nationals Can Apply for Good Conduct

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has outlined the process for Kenyans abroad to obtain a Certificate of Good Conduct without returning to Kenya. Applicants must log into their eCitizen accounts, pay online, download forms, and visit a Kenyan embassy or consulate for fingerprint capture, which is then sent to Kenya for processing. Foreign nationals who previously lived in Kenya need to provide immigration documents such as a work permit or diplomatic card and visit a diplomatic mission for fingerprinting. Kenyan residents can apply at Huduma Centres, where fingerprints are captured, with a six-month deadline for biometric submission after payment.
