Deadly Houthi attacks in Yemen’s Taiz as government forces advance in Marib

Yemeni government forces, backed by Saudi Arabia, have made strategic advances into Marib during the operation 'Dawn of Yemen,' aiming to retake all Houthi-held territory, including Sanaa. Meanwhile, fierce clashes and Houthi shelling in Taiz have resulted in numerous civilian casualties, with the city under siege. Rashad al-Alimi, chairman of Yemen’s Presidential Leadership Council, stated the goal is to recapture Sanaa, which has been controlled by the Houthis since 2014.
