Death of Miguel Masaisai: A Congolese Delegation in Brazzaville to Follow the Investigation and Prepare for Repatriation

A delegation from the DRC has been in Brazzaville since September 21, 2026, to follow up on the circumstances surrounding the death of Miguel Masaisai and prepare for the repatriation of his remains. Led by Claude Mbuyi, president of the National Youth Council, the mission will travel to Ouesso, where the accident occurred. Miguel Masaisai was involved in the 'Pedals for Peace' project, aimed at promoting peace through a cycling journey across Africa.
