"Death threats": Father files complaint against son over a bathroom door

At 93, B. Youm filed a complaint at the Golf-Sud police station against his 33-year-old son, M. Youm, accusing him of assaulting and threatening him with a bladed weapon after an argument over a bathroom door. The father says his son took the door to sell it and that he fled to his room before relatives and neighbors intervened. Summoned on October 30, M. Youm denied the assault and death threats but admitted selling the door at Lambaye market for 20,000 CFA francs. He said he had been drunk and could not clearly remember what happened, while denying that he had brandished a knife.
