DELSUTH: Doctors threaten strike over rotting facilities, staff exodus

The Medical and Dental Consultants Association of Nigeria (MDCAN) has raised concerns over the rapid decline of the Delta State University Teaching Hospital, which is struggling to provide basic healthcare services. In a statement, the doctors criticized the neglect of infrastructure and equipment, as well as poor funding, warning of a potential healthcare crisis. They reported that essential medical equipment is either obsolete or non-functional, and that working conditions are undermining medical training and patient care.
