Delta Speaker charges new member to advance legislation

The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, urged the new member representing Udu State Constituency, Hon. Arthur Okolosi, to work closely with colleagues to advance legislation and initiatives for the development and wellbeing of Udu and Delta State. Okolosi was inaugurated following his victory in the September 19, 2026, bye-election conducted by INEC. The swearing-in was conducted in accordance with Nigeria's 1999 Constitution and the House's Standing Orders, with Guwor administering the oath during the plenary session.
