Demand for Air Travel keep rising in Africa

Air travel demand in Africa rose by 6.4% year-on-year, with capacity increasing by 9.0%. The load factor stands at 74.1%. In contrast, global demand grew by only 0.2% in July 2026. African airlines continue to lead in passenger growth.
