Denmark says ‘binding’ US deal on Greenland won’t compromise sovereignty

Denmark has praised a 'binding' deal with the United States that grants Washington control over Greenland's security and prohibits Russian and Chinese military bases. However, both Denmark and Greenland stated that the agreement would not compromise Greenland's sovereignty. Greenland's Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen mentioned that the agreement recognizes Greenland's interests and is beneficial for all.
