Deplorable Roads: Sanwo-Olu Orders Immediate Repairs Across Lagos

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has ordered the Lagos State Public Works Corporation to begin immediate road reconstruction and rehabilitation, taking advantage of the dry season. In Oshodi-Isolo, work is underway on Godwin Omonuwa Road, Taiwo Street, Salamotu Street, Peter Agah Street and Ibeh Street. Other projects are taking place in Ojodu, Ikeja, Somolu and Alimosho, including work on Ogunnusi Road, Awolowo Way and Idimu-Ikotun Road. Corporation General Manager Tokunbo Ajanaku said some asphalt laying is being carried out at night to reduce traffic congestion.
