The decision was immediate and followed allegations of anti-party activities and conduct detrimental to Barau’s political interests in Kano State. Investigations found that Mai Sa’a made public statements that could incite supporters and undermine the APC, and she reportedly made disparaging remarks against Senator Barau despite benefiting from his political appointments and support.
