JAMB restores CAPS, sets admission deadlines for 2026/2027

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has restored its Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) after a temporary disruption, urging tertiary institutions to expedite their admission processes before the set deadlines. Public universities are required to conclude admissions by October 31, 2026, private universities by November 30, 2026, and other institutions by December 31, 2026. JAMB also advised candidates to upload or verify their NECO SSCE results following the release of the 2026 results to facilitate admissions.
