DGRE: An Inside Look at the External Intelligence Service Now Led by General Kandé

The Senegalese External Intelligence Directorate (DGRE), established in 2014 to unify external intelligence services, is now led by Brigadier General Souleymane Kandé. The DGRE, directly under the authority of the president, replaced the former Directorate of Documentation and External Security (DDSE) and is part of a coordinated intelligence framework overseen by the National Intelligence Directorate.
