DHA Explains How the New System Will Handle SHA Claims

The Digital Health Agency (DHA) is changing how facilities submit claims to the Social Health Authority (SHA), allowing claims to be generated directly from patients’ care records. DHA CEO Eng. Antony Lenaiyara outlined the system during a meeting with the Parliamentary Health Committee, chaired by Dr James Nyikal. The integration is expected to cut paperwork and processing delays, improve claim accuracy and strengthen validation, traceability and fraud prevention. DHA says the changes will support greater transparency and accountability in managing public healthcare funds.
