Diémbéring: Débo Diatta, 36, killed by falling branch of a kapok tree

On July 18, 2026, in Bouyouye, Diémbéring, Débo Diatta, a 36-year-old woman, was killed after being struck on the head by a dead branch of a kapok tree. She was returning from a nearby concession where she was caring for a patient. Despite the efforts of firefighters, she did not survive her injuries. Débo Diatta was a mother of three and worked in a mineral water production company.
