Digital / PND 2026-2030: Côte d'Ivoire aims for 15% of GDP through its national strategy

Minister of Digital Transition Djibril Ouattara presented Côte d'Ivoire's national digital strategy under the 2026-2030 National Development Plan (PND) on July 9, 2026 in Abidjan. The goal is to increase the sector's GDP contribution from the current 6-8% to 12-15% by 2030. The country has over 130% telecom penetration, 95% broadband coverage, 15 million internet users, 25 million mobile money users, and 38,000 km of fiber optic cable connecting one million households.
