DIRECT - General Policy Statement: The National Assembly opens its extraordinary session

The National Assembly opened its second extraordinary session of the year on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. The session, scheduled for 10 a.m., is dedicated to the opening of the session, the establishment of a quorum, and the adjournment. Prime Minister Ahmadou Al Aminou Lô will not deliver his General Policy Statement during this first session, with a new date to be set later by the Conference of Presidents.
