'Disgusting, shameful' - Piers Morgan slams Portugal for giving Ronaldo's iconic No.7 shirt to Leao

Piers Morgan harshly criticized Portugal for giving Cristiano Ronaldo’s iconic No.7 jersey to Rafael Leao, who will wear it against Denmark and Norway. Morgan called the decision 'disgusting' and 'shameful' in a post on X, emphasizing Ronaldo's recent departure from the national team due to frustrations with coach Jorge Jesus. He highlighted Ronaldo's dedication, noting he played for Portugal shortly after his father's death. Leao, who looks up to Ronaldo, expressed happiness at receiving the jersey.
