Don't leave politics to opportunists, Fayemi tells Catholics

Former Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, urged Nigerian Catholics to actively engage in politics during the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria. He emphasized that withdrawing from politics would allow opportunists to gain power and encouraged voters to assess candidates based on their commitment to human dignity and the common good. Fayemi also called for political formation within the Catholic Church to adequately prepare members for public service.
