Dos Santos and Russell set world records in ‘crazy’ Zurich Diamond League

Alison Dos Santos broke the world record in the 400m hurdles with a time of 45.80 seconds, surpassing the previous record of 45.94 seconds held by Karsten Warholm. Masai Russell also set a new world record in the 100m hurdles with a time of 12.09 seconds, beating the previous record of 12.12 seconds by Tobi Amusan. Both athletes left Zurich with a check for $80,000 for their outstanding performances.
