Since 2022, Craft Development SCI, a Cameroonian real estate company, has been in a legal dispute with Actis and five of its entities before the High Court in London. Craft is seeking damages for breach of contract and fraud, accusations that Actis contests. The dispute dates back to 2015 when Craft secured a promise of sale for land intended for a shopping center in Douala, but the planned joint venture with Actis was never realized.
