Elimane Pouye revealed that the Senegalese government sold a central city land block, including the former gendarmerie headquarters, National Archives, and the national dojo, to Ad Immobilier, controlled by the Peretz family from Israel. The site was valued at 9 billion FCFA, while the construction of the new gendarmerie headquarters was estimated at around 5 billion FCFA. Sogepa proposed reimbursing the difference and repurchasing the land for a real estate project, but the plan was abandoned after Ousmane Sonko left the Prime Minister's office.
