Health workers in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) have begun receiving the Ervebo vaccine against the Ebola virus, with the rollout starting in Bunia, the capital of Ituri province, the epicenter of the outbreak. Approximately 50,000 health workers will be vaccinated, and the vaccine's effectiveness against the Bundibugyo strain will be monitored in 20,000 recipients.
