Dr Muyembe: "Several doses of the Ervebo vaccine available to fight Ebola in Ituri, the effectiveness of treatments still under study"

Dr. Jean-Jacques Muyembe announced that a significant quantity of the Ervebo vaccine is available to combat the Ebola outbreak in Ituri. The vaccination campaign, which will start soon, will prioritize healthcare workers and individuals in contact with positive cases. Although molecules to treat the Bundibugyo strain are available, their effectiveness has not yet been proven.
