DRC: At least four displaced persons killed during attack on Rhoo site in Djugu

Militias CODECO killed at least four internally displaced persons, including a woman, two children, and a man, during an attack on the Rhoo site in Bahema-Nord, Ituri. The assault began in the morning from sectors of Walendu Pitsi, Walendu Tatsi, and Walendu Djatsi, and was partially repelled by UN peacekeepers. Following their retreat, the militias attacked nearby villages, looting and burning houses, with the provisional death toll and damage still uncertain due to access difficulties.
