DRC: C64 welcomes UNMONUSCO's call for an inclusive national dialogue and the preservation of civic space

The Coalition Article 64 for the defense of the constitutional order (C64) welcomed the call made by James Swan, UN Secretary-General’s Special Representative in DRC, for an inclusive national dialogue. The C64 agrees that there is a broad consensus on the need for such a dialogue, which should involve all sectors of Congolese society and be based on an agreement among stakeholders. The coalition, which includes figures like Moïse Katumbi and Martin Fayulu, also praises the call to preserve civic space and fundamental freedoms, while condemning violence such as the September 15, 2026 protests where one of its members, Manassé Lomboto Bofengola, was killed.
