DRC: Census Mapping for RGPH-2 Officially Launched in Kinshasa Ahead of July 2027 Enumeration

The Democratic Republic of Congo officially launched on September 28 in Kinshasa the census mapping for the second General Population and Housing Census (RGPH-2). Over the course of a month, agents will map neighborhoods to locate buildings, households, and infrastructure to prepare for the enumeration scheduled for July 2027. This phase aims to provide accurate data for resource allocation, infrastructure planning, and modernizing the national statistical system, 42 years after the first census in 1984.
