DRC: Christophe Lutundula’s ADP condemns creation of the FRN and calls for stronger international sanctions against Kabila and his allies

The Alliance of Democrats for Progress (ADP), led by Christophe Lutundula, condemned the creation of the Front for the Refoundation of the Nation (FRN), a new politico-military movement launched by former president Joseph Kabila after the AFC/M23’s transformation. The ADP says Kabila’s parliamentary immunity was rightly lifted and his conviction by the High Military Court was justified, describing UN reports linking him to the AFC/M23 as credible. It urged Congolese people to support President Félix Tshisekedi, the FARDC and the Wazalendo groups.
