DRC: Daniel Mukoko Samba mobilizes consumer associations to promote the LOBA platform

The Competition Commission (COMCO) met with consumer protection associations on October 15, 2026, to present the LOBA digital platform and plan outreach efforts. Publicly available since October 6, LOBA enables consumers to learn about their rights, report abuses, and track complaints. David Mavuma, an adviser in Deputy Prime Minister Daniel Mukoko Samba’s office, said the information collected could contribute to a national database and help identify recurring market practices to improve regulation. COMCO urged associations to raise public awareness in collaboration with the Ministry of the National Economy.
