DRC-Ebola: From South Kivu to South Ubangi via Rwanda and Uganda, the long journey of a patient

A 23-year-old man infected with Ebola traveled through Rwanda and Uganda before returning to the DRC via Ituri, where he died in South Ubangi. He left Kamanyola on July 10 and developed symptoms aboard a boat coming from Lisala, arriving in South Ubangi on September 3. Health authorities confirmed it was an imported case and have not identified any local transmission in the province.
