DRC establishes National Confederation of Mining Cooperatives

Mining cooperatives in the DRC have established a National Confederation to advocate for their interests and enhance their representation to authorities. This initiative was launched following the National Forum of Mining Cooperatives in Kinshasa. Bulasila Elongo, a representative from Maniema cooperatives, emphasized that this confederation will improve the organization of cooperatives and enable coordinated advocacy to overcome administrative challenges faced in the sector.
