DRC: In four years, the "Financial Patrol" has more than doubled public revenues

According to former Inspector General of Finances, Jules Alingete Key, public revenues in the DRC increased by 133.5% from 2020 to 2024, rising from $5.5 billion to $12.84 billion without new taxes. The rate of revenue leakage decreased from 18.20% to 12.17% of GDP, and the number of taxpayers nearly doubled. The book also highlights an improvement in corruption perception and a significant increase in the cash reserves of public enterprises.
