DRC: In Kimoka, the return of displaced persons comes with a humanitarian challenge

In Kimoka, in the Masisi territory, a UN team assessed the living conditions of recently returned residents, focusing on agricultural aid and socio-economic reintegration. The women met expressed the need for access to livestock to enhance their economic autonomy. Approximately 30,384 people had returned to Kimoka and Saké by February 4, 2025, with over 1,400 benefiting from agricultural support programs.
