DRC: João Lourenço praises the announcement of the upcoming inclusive inter-Congolese dialogue which should encourage all parties to discuss ways to achieve peace

Angolan President João Lourenço praised the national dialogue initiative launched by Félix Tshisekedi, President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, during the 21st extraordinary session of the African Union in Luanda. He emphasized that dialogue is essential for overcoming a crisis and referenced Angola's experience with armed conflicts. Lourenço stressed the need for political commitment to achieve peace and economic and social development in the DRC.
