DRC: Joseph Kabila Leads the Front for the Rebuilding of the Nation

On October 12 in Goma, eastern DRC, the political-military platform called the Front for the Rebuilding of the Nation (FRN) was announced, with former president Joseph Kabila as its leader. The coalition includes figures from AFC/M23 and aims to unite opposition forces against President Félix Tshisekedi’s government to end what they describe as tyranny. Claude Ibalanky, a coalition advisor, stated that the FRN intends to coordinate resistance efforts against the current regime.
