DRC: The Difficult Work of Teams Responsible for Burying Ebola Victims

The Ebola epidemic in the Democratic Republic of Congo has resulted in over 3,000 deaths from more than 6,000 confirmed cases. In Rwankole, Ituri, burial teams, including those led by Benjamin Muhindo, are facing an intense workload and aggression from communities wanting to reclaim the bodies of their loved ones. The burials are complicated, and the death toll continues to rise.
