DRC: US sanctions against Kigali draw mixed reactions in Goma

In Goma, North Kivu, US sanctions targeting Rwanda’s Ministry of Defence and a Rwandan financial institution have drawn mixed reactions. Goma resident Jimmy Buhenwa says agreements and sanctions announced in recent months have not yet produced the hoped-for changes. Residents are primarily waiting to see a concrete improvement in security.
