The NTSA confirmed that physical logbooks will remain valid even after the electronic system launches on June 10, 2026. Vehicle owners will need to apply for a duplicate to migrate to the e-logbook, which will allow for faster ownership transfers and real-time updates. Access to e-logbooks will be limited to authorized account holders, and new owners of vehicles under the digital system will automatically receive an e-logbook.
