Drone Strikes in Kiev: Russia Targets Multiple Data Centers Allegedly Used by the Army

Russian drones targeted telecommunications infrastructure in Kiev from September 27 to 28, including a data center operated by Ukrtelecom, which Moscow claims was used by Ukrainian forces. The Russian Defense Ministry reported strikes on logistics, communication centers, ports, and the Vassilkov airbase, as well as data centers belonging to Omega Telecom and Cosmonova. Ukrtelecom confirmed one of its sites was damaged but stated its services remain available and no employees were injured, without confirming the exact location of the site hit.
