Drugs: Police Place the Order Themselves and Bring Down the Kingpin S. Sylla

In Thiaroye, Sant Yalla neighborhood, S. S. Sylla, known for selling psychotropic pills like Alpraz and Temesta without prescriptions, was targeted by police after weeks of investigation. The police arranged a sting by ordering 240,000 FCFA worth of these pills, and arrested him during the delivery, discovering 18 packets of medication and 21 Temesta tablets. A search at his home uncovered an additional 23 packets and counterfeit 10,000 FCFA bills, revealing his involvement in drug trafficking and counterfeit money. He will be brought before the court for possession and sale of psychotropic drugs and counterfeit currency.
