Dschang: the AREA building ravaged by a fire

On April 14, 2026, a fire ravaged the building housing the insurance company AREA in Dschang, near the Town Hall. Local residents mobilized to try to control the fire before the arrival of emergency services, thereby limiting the damage. Although no loss of life has been reported, the material damage is significant, with thick smoke visible in the neighborhood.
