Durban City target Ernst Middendorp for third stint following Khalil Ben Youssef sacking

Ernst Middendorp is on the verge of returning to Durban City for a third stint in less than a season and a half, following the reported sacking of coach Khalil Ben Youssef on Saturday night. Middendorp, who previously served as technical director at the club last season, may be appointed as head coach to replace Ben Youssef. The Tunisian coach, who took over during pre-season after Pitso Dladla's departure, had a slow start, being eliminated from the MTN8 and recording only one win, four draws, and two losses in the league, despite an encouraging performance in the CAF Confederation Cup.
