Durbar: Kano government warns against disobedience

The Kano State Government has warned traditional rulers, politicians, religious leaders, and community leaders not to make statements or take actions that could encourage disobedience to lawful directives or threaten peace in the state. The warning followed a video by Aminu Babba Dan’Agundi, who discussed recent restrictions on Durbar activities and the ongoing court cases related to the Kano Emirship. The Special Adviser emphasized that only courts can interpret and enforce their orders, and personal interpretations do not justify ignoring lawful directives. The government urged all parties involved in the Emirship dispute to allow judicial processes to conclude peacefully and warned against actions that could lead to unrest or public disorder.
