Duty free: Lagardère reports 1.27 billion FCFA in loans and advances to its Cameroonian subsidiary

Lagardère Travel Retail (LTR) reported, as of December 31, 2025, 1.27 billion FCFA (about 1.941 million euros) in loans and advances to its Cameroonian subsidiary, which owns 100% of the company. The company began operations in April 2025 at Douala and Yaoundé-Nsimalen airports with five shops and an investment of over 3 billion FCFA. The gross value of the subsidiary's shares is approximately 11.7 million FCFA, making the loans nearly 109 times higher than this amount, though these figures are of different natures.
