Borno ADC and Inuwa Bwala clash over Zulum’s record on opposition

The ADC in Borno State accused Governor Babagana Zulum of restricting political space, citing the demolition of Atom Magira’s three-storey plaza, alleged threats against opposition supporters and the detention of five youths who displayed “Tinubu Must Go” placards. The party also said it had been denied campaign venues and that its billboards were removed. Inuwa Bwala, a former commissioner and APC member, rejected the accusations and said his analysis reflected his own partisan perspective, not an attack on the ADC. He said Magira’s building was demolished over alleged planning violations and that properties belonging to APC members had also been demolished for similar reasons.
