EA private investment deals rise despite global shocks

The number of disclosed private investment deals in the East Africa region increased by 10% in the first seven months of 2026, reaching 66 transactions. Despite challenging investment conditions due to the conflict in the Middle East, venture capital and private equity investors remain optimistic. The total value of deals stood at $1.03 billion, down from $1.18 billion the previous year.
