EACC Wins Case Against Homa Bay Employee Over Ksh708,664 Double Pay

A former Homa Bay County Government employee has been ordered to refund Ksh708,664 after the High Court in Nairobi found that she received irregular salary payments for over three years. The court ruled that the additional payments, received between February 2015 and May 2018, were not due to her. While the EACC successfully proved the irregular payments, the court dismissed claims against two other former payroll officials due to insufficient evidence.
