Epidemiologist Eric Feigl-Ding says the political participation is an effort to promote responsible healthcare policies and counter misinformation.

Saudi Arabia has barred Kenyans from entering and restricted its citizens from traveling to Nairobi because of the outbreak. Kenya’s Health Cabinet Secretary, Aden Duale, objected to the measures, saying the country had handled the Ebola situation well and the threat was minimal.
